I find it looks perfect and grand. A photo of my brother’s kindergarten graduation in a class of 1970
had been found underneath my draw when I was cleaning my parents’ home.
I was drawing this after watching the Movie “Holy Motor” directed by Leos Carax. It was nothing to do with the movie. The whole concept was inspired by the cavemen, one of the characters in the movie. It will be continued with another Sunday Morning Drawing Session.
Same elephant, different colours
Everyone has a unique and individual skin texture and pattern.
Every line and curve of our skin texture indicate our path of history and that makes every one of us different.
What I do is beautify our texture into an illustration composed by a series of abstract and organic lines and curve.
Using the concept of hand as an extension of physical functionality and expression of sensuality,
it is to reach out and bridge all different walks of life together in one place in which we are living,
sharing stories and hoping to inspire different people in different ways.
